ADHD 15-MINUTE GUEST READY HOME CHECKLIST
Guests are on their way, and your attention keeps jumping between shoes by the door, the kitchen counter and the cushions on the sofa. This illustrated one-page checklist gives those tasks a visible place. Instead of deciding on a complete house-cleaning routine, choose the spaces guests will use and a practical action you can take next.
The page combines a five-step game plan, five focus-zone checklists, household tools, a small daily reset and a final check before guests arrive. The 15-minute title refers to a suggested planning session. It is not a promise that every task or room can be finished in fifteen minutes, and you can use the page at your own pace.
HELPS WITH
• Choosing a starting point when several household tasks compete for attention.
• Keeping visible surfaces and guest areas in view.
• Separating decluttering, cleaning, room resets and finishing touches.
• Selecting a focus zone rather than treating the whole home as one task.
• Checking a few practical basics before guests arrive.
• Recording something you are proud of without needing every box checked.
REAL-LIFE EXAMPLE
You have a short window before a friend visits. You might write entryway and living room as today's focus, then choose a few actions from those zones. A basket can hold loose items while you wipe a surface or straighten a throw. Before your friend arrives, return to the final quick check and decide what still matters. This is an illustrative use example, not a customer testimonial or a guarantee about speed, cleanliness or how you will feel.
HOW THE TOOL WORKS
At the top, add a date and a focus and use the printed mood choices if useful. The main game plan then separates a home reset into five stages: setting a timer, gathering clutter, cleaning high-impact areas, resetting key spaces and adding warm touches. Use the checkboxes to make your selected actions visible. You can skip tasks that do not apply.
The five focus zones provide a second way into the same page. If you already know which room needs attention, begin there instead of following every stage. The lower panels offer tools, reminders, a mini daily reset and a final guest-arrival check. These are different sections of one sheet, not extra worksheets or a multi-page cleaning system.
WHAT YOU GET
• One original A4 PDF containing one illustrated ADHD 15-Minute Guest Ready Home Checklist.
• Five game-plan columns and five focus-zone checklists on the same page.
• Household-tool suggestions, a mini daily reset, gentle reminders and a personal-win writing area.
• A digital download link supplied with your Shopify purchase opens the Google Drive folder containing the actual product PDF.
• A digital download for personal use. No printed pad, timer, basket, cleaning supplies or display props are included.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Open the digital download link supplied with your Shopify purchase.
2. Save the original worksheet PDF from the Google Drive product folder.
3. Print the single A4 worksheet and choose the areas that matter for this visit.
4. Add a focus, set an optional timer and select a manageable action.
5. Use the game plan or go directly to a focus-zone checklist.
6. Return to the final quick check and personal-win area when useful. A partially completed page can still record the actions you chose.
WHAT IS ON THE PAGE
DATE FOCUS AND MOOD
The opening row includes a date line, a printed fifteen-minute planning block, a Today's Focus line and four illustrated mood faces. Write a specific area or task if that helps you begin. You do not need to use the timer or mood choices to use the rest of the sheet.
THE FIVE-STEP GAME PLAN
Set the Timer suggests a visible timer and focusing on progress rather than perfection. Declutter Fast invites you to gather loose items with a basket or bag. Clean the High Impact Areas lists visible surfaces, counters, a mirror and high-traffic floors. Reset Key Spaces covers pillows, throws, the coffee table and entryway. Finish with Warm Touches offers options such as opening blinds or adding a cosy detail. Choose appropriate tasks for your home; the list is a menu rather than a requirement to do everything.
FIVE QUICK FOCUS ZONES
Entryway includes shoes or bags, the door or handles and the mat. Living Room covers clutter, pillows, throws and the table. Kitchen includes counters, surfaces, dishes and rubbish. Bathroom includes the sink, mirror, towel and toiletries. Extra Spaces covers visible mess, doors or drawers and beds if needed. These checklists let you concentrate on the rooms guests will actually use. They do not create additional pages or imply that every space needs attention for every visit.
TOOLS AND DAILY RESET
The tools panel suggests a timer, basket or bag, cleaner, microfibre cloth, rubbish bag and music. None of these items is supplied. The mini daily reset includes small actions such as placing papers together, closing notebooks and leaving one space clear. Its two-minute label is a suggested planning window, not a promise that all actions will take exactly that time.
REMINDERS AND PERSONAL WIN
Gentle reminders encourage a manageable approach. The I'm Proud of Me For area provides three writing lines for your own observation. You can record a practical action, leave a line blank or return later. The page is not a score, clinical assessment or measure of your worth.
QUICK CHECK BEFORE GUESTS ARRIVE
The final checklist brings floors, surfaces, clutter, smells and the overall setting into one place. Use your judgement about what is relevant and safe. The closing illustrated card and pink ribbon are part of the original artwork. Their encouraging language does not guarantee a particular result or emotional response.
GREAT FOR
• Adults who prefer colourful paper reminders for household tasks.
• Choosing visible tasks before a casual visit.
• Focusing on selected rooms instead of planning a whole-house clean.
• People who like a checklist with both a sequence and room-by-room choices.
• Adding a small home reset to an existing routine.
IMPORTANT NOTES
This is a general household planning resource, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment for ADHD or any condition. The original artwork includes encouraging phrases about time, confidence and calm; these are motivational copy, not verified outcome claims. Completion time depends on your space, tasks and circumstances.
Use cleaning products and equipment according to their labels and instructions. Finishing touches are optional; choose what suits your household. The worksheet does not provide cleaning-product combinations, appliance settings or personalised safety instructions.
One A4 page is included. There are no bonus sheets, US Letter files, editable Canva templates, automated reminders or interactive fillable form fields. A writing pad is only a mockup prop.

I would recommend printing on matte photo paper or smooth card stock, this will give you a more natural look. Soft luster paper is also nice and will add more color saturation. These are also great printed on canvas.
Please know that I have tried to represent the true colors to the best of my ability, however, your actual colors may be slightly different due to each monitor/printer setting.
