ADHD BODY DOUBLE CLEANING CHECKLIST
You want to make a start on cleaning, but there are several spaces asking for attention. Planning a session with someone else can begin with a simple agreement: which space, what goal and when to check in. This illustrated one-page checklist gives that conversation a place on paper.
The ADHD Body Double Cleaning Checklist combines a five-step session guide, ten room or space checklists, practical partner tips and a next-session plan on one A4 sheet. Use the parts that fit your home and available energy. A body double is the person you choose to be alongside you while you work; the download is a worksheet and does not include a person, coaching appointment or live support service.
HELPS WITH
• Choosing one home space before a cleaning session begins.
• Agreeing a time and a modest goal with your chosen support person.
• Breaking a room reset into visible checklist items.
• Remembering to check in, encourage each other and take a break when needed.
• Recording a cleaning win without needing to finish the whole house.
• Planning when you might meet or work alongside each other again.
REAL-LIFE EXAMPLE
Imagine you and a friend decide to spend some time on the kitchen. Use the guide to choose the space and agree a goal, such as clearing one counter. Look at the kitchen checklist and choose the tasks relevant to that session. You can mark what you do, leave the rest for another day and note something you are proud of afterwards. Add a date or goal for the next session if useful. This is an illustrative example, not a customer testimonial or a promise that a particular task will be completed within a set time.
HOW THE TOOL WORKS
The top of the sheet introduces working alongside a body double and shows a five-step sequence: pick your space, set the timer, check in, clean together and celebrate. The two rows of room cards then provide a menu of ten cleaning zones. Pick one card rather than treating every checkbox on the page as today's assignment.
The lower panels offer session tips, optional sprint ideas and encouragement. A daily check-in lets you mark days you use your routine, while the wins area gives space to recognise something you did. The final panel keeps the next session's date, time, goal and support person together. All sections are printed on one sheet; the ten zone cards are not ten separate downloadable pages.

WHAT IS ON THE PAGE
FIVE-STEP SESSION GUIDE
The illustrated guide walks through choosing a space, setting a timer, checking in, cleaning together and celebrating. Its suggested ten-to-twenty-minute starting block is optional. You can choose an appropriate length, stop earlier or take a break. The worksheet does not promise that a room will be finished within that time.
TEN CLEANING ZONE CHECKLISTS
The room cards cover entryway, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry area, home office, kids room, closet or wardrobe, and any space. Each has five checkboxes with room-specific tasks. Examples include putting shoes away, clearing clutter, sorting laundry, organising papers and returning items to their places. These are practical suggestions rather than a complete cleaning, disinfection or household-safety protocol.
BODY DOUBLE TIPS
The tips panel suggests agreeing the time and goal, reducing distractions, encouraging rather than criticising, taking stretch or water breaks when needed and celebrating small wins. Use these as conversation reminders with the person you choose. The file does not provide a matching service or supervise your session.
OPTIONAL SPRINT IDEAS AND MOTIVATION
Six ideas include clearing a surface, picking items up from the floor, wiping kitchen counters, decluttering one drawer or shelf, doing a load of laundry and cleaning a mirror or sink. The ten-minute heading is a suggested planning block, not a guarantee that each task fits that time. Printed motivational wording is encouragement, not a measured claim about focus, stress, momentum or cleaning speed.
DAILY CHECK-IN AND CLEANING WINS
Mark the Monday-to-Sunday boxes if you want to track your routine. A did-my-best-today choice, proud-of writing lines and illustrated feeling choices invite a brief personal check-in. Leaving a box blank is fine; the page is not a performance score.
NEXT BODY DOUBLE SESSION
Write a date, time, goal and support person's name for another session. This panel helps keep the next arrangement in one place without creating an appointment or sending a reminder automatically.
GREAT FOR
• Adults who prefer illustrated home checklists and a visible session plan.
• Friends or household members planning to work alongside one another.
• Personal routines focused on one room or one small task at a time.
• People who want checkboxes, encouragement and a short reflection on the same page.
IMPORTANT NOTES
This is an everyday planning resource, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment for ADHD or any other condition. It does not guarantee improved focus, reduced overwhelm, a faster clean or any particular result. Choose suitable tasks and follow the instructions for any cleaning supplies you use. The file contains one A4 page; no bonus worksheets, US Letter version, editable Canva template or interactive form fields are included.

I would recommend printing on matte photo paper or smooth card stock, this will give you a more natural look. Soft luster paper is also nice and will add more color saturation. These are also great printed on canvas.
Please know that I have tried to represent the true colors to the best of my ability, however, your actual colors may be slightly different due to each monitor/printer setting.
